The Figueira (Fig tree) in Praça XV is one of the best known icons of Florianópolis, and Cafundó couldn't let the city's anniversary pass without a remarkable and technological experience involving the Figueira.
The famous XV Square now has one more story to tell, but much more interactive. Those who pass through the square will see the Figueira come to life and tell its story in augmented reality. This is only possible through the “Lendas da Ilha” application. The experience was created by Cafundó Estúdio Criativo in partnership with Koerich stores.
In order to win over locals, the studio idealized the personality of the fig tree, with a mixture of sweetness and wisdom, but with a little spunkiness and playfulness, characteristics of the island's habitants. In an interactive way, the “Queen of the Square” interacts with residents and visitors on the island of magic.
