A Mapped Projection featuring elements of Florianópolis culture and sustainable energy solutions brought the city's historic center to life during the We Light Floripa Festival.
Cafundó Estúdio created a mapped projection for Engie Brasil at the We Light Floripa Festival. In collaboration with the country's leading renewable energy company, we aimed to convey their solutions in a playful and cultural manner. The festival brought together art, technology, architecture, and light in an outdoor program in the Historic Center of Florianópolis.
Using the building of the State Department of Finance of Santa Catarina as a screen, the projected video combined forms of sustainable energy, such as wind and solar, with iconic elements of Florianópolis, such as fishing, sports, and the "boi de mamão" cultural event. The strategic location next to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the XV de Novembro Square provided a unique visual experience, while the architecture of the building was skillfully utilized to create immersive visual effects. The project not only illuminated the State Department of Finance building but also shed light on Engie Brasil's vision for a more sustainable future, inspiring reflection on the importance of renewable energy in the local community and the environment.
